My Professional Society
the BioCommunications Association

I joined The Biological Photographic Association in 1978 immediately after I graduated from Bradley University with my completed biology degree in-hand. BPA has probably been the most important group that I have ever been a part of. It was my "place" to meet other biological photographers, it was a place to be inspired, it was a place to share my work and a forum to write and present my research. More than 25 years later, I am still involved and feel a sense of gratitude to the people who dedicated their energy in the early years creating this organization. So many great things that have happened to me and having origins in BPA. My annual trips to Sweden began because of connections made at the BPA Annual Workshop, my teaching job at Ford was inpart because of the RBP program and there are so many more examples.
